Opening ceremony of EDS: Certificate Course in EDS(7/2024) opened

The Opening Ceremonies of the Certificate Course in Enhanced Diplomatic Skills (7/2024) conducted by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, were held on 13 May 2024, 09:00 am, respectively at the Lawkanat Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Nay Pyi Taw) and the Wunzinminyarzar Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Yangon). H.E. U Lwin Oo, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs delivered the opening remarks in Nay Pyi Taw.

Present at the occasions were the Directors-General and other responsible officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, retired Myanmar Ambassadors, senior diplomats, professors, lecturers, and trainees.

The Certificate Courses in Enhanced Diplomatic Skills are being conducted continuously for the civil servants and individuals from the private sector who have completed the Certificate Course in Basic Diplomatic Skills, who would like to further their studies in diplomacy and international relations.

The Certificate Course in Enhanced Diplomatic Skills (7/2024) will be conducted in two sessions; in Nay Pyi Taw and Yangon respectively, from 13 May 2024 to 5 July 2024 and a total of 100 trainees will attend the course. The eight-week-long course covers the subjects related to diplomacy, contemporary international affairs, international relations, international law, economics and general knowledge.
