Terrorist Attack: 32 died and 14 injured due to terrorist attack

Thirty-two people died, and fourteen others were injured due to an attack by PDF terrorists in Hsone Village, Myinchan Township, Mandalay Region, on Thursday.

The terrorists launched the attack on the Hsone Village People’s Militia Camp using heavy weapons from the southern and southeast wards. Due to the counterattack by the People’s Militia members, the terrorists retreated to the east ward, setting fire to the houses along their way.

About fifty houses in the village were damaged by fire. The security forces conducted fire extinguishing and transported the injured persons to the local military station hospital for medical treatment. Necessary security measures are in place while counter operations are ongoing against the retreated terrorists.
