Inspection in Yangon: Union Minister inspects vessels for immigration

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing on Wednesday inspected the Immigration Department on Pansodan Road in Yangon and heard report on vessels to be used in immigration inspection operations, number of the staff assigned at the vessels, annual repairs and maintenance conditions of the vessels, immigration processes and requirements.

After hearing the reports, the Union Minister gave necessary instructions. And, the Union Minister inspected the vessels, urged the concerned officials and staff to follow the rules and procedures for the immigration processes, to attend more advanced courses and to cooperate with relevant departments and stressed the importance of safety.
