Knowledge Sharing: Discussion on Agriculture, Livestock & Irrigation Sector

Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation held a knowledge sharing session at the Ministry in Nay Pyi Taw.

In the session, Deputy Minister Dr. Aung Gyi stressed that by sharing experiences and knowledge, experts can contribute to the high performance of not only themselves but also their colleagues. He also urged attendees to strive to strengthen the development of the agricultural and livestock sectors by spreading knowledge according to relevant sectors and using new technologies.

This knowledge sharing session focused on tech exchange conference and African Swine Fever Vaccine Introduction ceremony in Viet Nam, training program on sustainable fisheries and dairy in India, national level workshop on strengthening regional cooperation and capacity building to combat illegal fishing in Thailand and seminar on Agricultural and Livestock Production Technology for Developing Countries.

After the seminar, the Deputy Minister called for efforts to re-educate the farmers and growers on technologies for agricultural sector development and to improve their income and living standards.
