Inspection Tour: MCRD Union Minister tours in Yangon

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, along with concerned officials, conducted a field inspection to small-scale manufacturing operations in Yangon on Tuesday. Upon arrival at Industrial Workshop (Yangon) of the Small Scale Industries Department, the Union Minister and party met with the staff and relevant officials at the meeting hall.
During the meeting, the officials reported on the issues related to conducting vocational training courses and operations of the Industrial Workshop. After reviewing the reports, the Union Minister instructed the relevant officials to prioritize the opening of vocational training courses tailored to the needs of the region and systematic teaching. He emphasized the needs to scale the manageable businesses upon completion of the training courses and provide job opportunities.
Then, the Union Minister and party inspected around the industrial work in the workshop. The Union Minister and party then proceeded to the Myanma Handicraft Centre (Yangon) and received briefings from the relevant officials.
Following the briefings, the Union Minister emphasized the importance of managing the opening of the Myanmar Handicraft Center to generate public interest with the support from the regional government, Ministry of Hotels and Tourism, hotelier associations, and tourism businesses.
Next, the Union Minister and party arrived at the cooperative office of Dagon MyoThit(South) Township and met with the departmental personnel of the Cooperative Department in Dagon MyoThit District.
During the meeting, he instructed all to fulfill their departmental duties with dedication and cooperation while following the law, procedural instructions, and staff regulations. Following this, the Union Minister coordinated and fulfilled the needs.
