Excursion Trip: Grade-9 versatile students tour in Bagan

Versatile students of Grade -9 are camping at the Lu Ye Chun Camp in Bagan of Nyaung U District in Mandalay Region.

With the aim to develop human resource for the country, the Ministry of Education annually selects versatile students (Luu Ye Chun) across the country.

The excursion trips for these versatile students have been arranged with the tour to Bagan Archaeological Zone, Taunggyi and Ngwe Saung respectively.

Supervisor Teacher, Tanintharyi Region, Su Su Myat Maw said "We have a total of 26 members, including 4 supervisor teachers. We provide necessary arrangements for the students to maintain good health. We conveniently toured Nay Pyi Taw. They joined this tour after competing at various levels in their respective townships and districts. I'm truly honored for them. Since they have never been to Bagan, they are overwhelmed by the opportunity to visit this ancient town. They thoroughly enjoyed the tour and gained a lot of regional knowledge."

Students from various regions and states have faced various level competitions to be selected as the versatile students for 2023-2024 academic year.

Htoo Myat Aung, Versatile Student said "We have visited the ancient pagodas in Bagan and gained many experiences, enjoying the tour and taking memorable photos. I'm really happy."

Toe Toe Wai, Versatile Student said "Being a Lu Ye Chun has been one of my childhood dreams. No words can describe my happiness. We visited the ancient pagodas in Bagan, and we were truly satisfied to learn about the history of the pagodas as the board of trustees explained the details to us."

Min Thu Khant, Versatile Student said "We have learned about the ancient kings along with the history of the pagodas. I greatly appreciate it as I have had the chance to visit the historic places in Myanmar."

The Ministry of Education is implementing Lu Yee Chun project with the aim to turn out outstanding students across the country.
