Amnesty Granted: SAC grants amnesty to over 3,000 prisoners

Over 3,000 prisoners were granted amnesty by the orders of the State Administration Council on Wednesday.
For the sake of public peace and humanitarian reasons, over 3,000 prisoners from various prisons were granted amnesty in accordance with section 401 (a) of the code of criminal procedure, after they pledged that if they were convicted again, they would agree to be punished with the remainder of the sentence in addition to the new sentence.
Among the released prisoners included foreigners and they were extradited.
