Offering 3-storey monastic building: Yangon Region CM and Commander attended

The merit sharing ceremony for donation of new 3-storey Pariyatti lecturing monastic building in Mavihara monastery in Boe Dawna Kone Village of Hmawbi Township, Yangon Region was held at the monastery in the morning on 7th April and was attended by members of Sangha led by the member of State Sangha Mahanayaka Committee Hmawbi Sayadaw, Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, Commander of Yangon Command Maj-Gen Zaw Hein and officials.

First, the congregation observed five precepts administered by Hmawbi Sayadaw and took the Paritta Suttas recited by the members of Sangha. Next, the Chief Minister and Commander offered the offertories to the members of Sangha and the Commander handed over the documents related new 3-storey Pariyatti lecturing monastic building in Mavihara monastery and offered cash donation.

Then, the congregation led by the Chief minister and Commander took the sermon delivered by the member of State Sangha Mahanayaka Committee and shared the merits gain and the ceremony was concluded.
