Fake News: Clarification on the incident in Daungthar Village

It has been found that illegal and destructive media are spreading fabricated news, alleging that security forces launched dropped bombs attack while villagers from Daungthar were harvesting onion in Pauk Township, Magwe Region on 6th of April, injuring 9 people.

Illegal and subversive media are propagating fake news and false information intentionally through social media platforms in order to make public panic and misunderstanding to the security forces.

Regarding this news, the security official refuted that it is an alleged news aiming to cause misunderstanding to the security forces conducting security measures near Daungthar village.

As security forces are protecting the lives and properties of the people and conducting the security measures for prevailing peace in the region with the cooperation of the locals, malicious news media and people, who do not want peace in the community, are spreading fake news.
