Inspection Tour: Sports infrastructure in Tachileik District

Union Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, U Min Thein Zan, made a visit to Tachileik District in Shan State on April 6th to assess the state of sports facilities.

During the inspection, the Union Minister examined various sports venues including the District Sports Stadium, Badminton Court, Myoma Sports Grounds, Sepak Takraw and Volleyball Court, Gymnasium, Weightlifting Hall, and Billiards and Snooker Hall. Alongside facility inspections, he emphasized the importance of long-term sustainability and implemented greening initiatives.

Moreover, U Min Thein Zan engaged with the staff of Tachileik Township Sports and Physical Education Department, urging them to strive towards producing outstanding athletes for the state. During the tour, sports gear was distributed to enhance the capabilities of local athletes.
