Recreational Excellence: Enhancing Pyin Oo Lwin Kandawgyi Gardens

National Landmarks Garden in Pyin Oo Lwin stands as a prominent public recreation destination, attracting visitors from near and far. The ongoing upgrades within the garden aim to increase its scenic beauty, ensuring visitors' satisfaction.

On April 6th, Union Minister for Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation, U Khin Maung Yi, conducted an inspection of the garden's development initiatives.

During his visit, the Union Minister oversaw various undertakings, including the enhancement of the water source along the forest path and the cultivation of Rhododendrons, roses, and Japanese cherry. To mitigate the risk of lake overflow within the garden, reinforced dams are under construction between Lake Nos. 3 and 4.

Furthermore, a Research Centre has been established to observe native flower species, conduct test cultivations, and produce natural fertilizer using worm-cast. Additionally, the garden now features a forest path tailored for cycling activities, enriching the recreational facilities available to visitors.
