Work Undertakings: Thingyan dance rehearsal and providing assistance

Union Minister for Hotels and Tourism Dr. Thet Thet Khaing accompanied by Deputy Minister, permanent secretary and concerned officials overviewed the rehearsal of the Ministry’s Yein dance troupe at the Jade Hall of the Ministry on Thursday morning.

The Yein dance troupe will perform at Nay Pyi Taw Mayor pavilion, Central pavilion of Nay Pyi Taw Water Splash Walk Festival during 1385 Myanmar Traditional Thingyan celebrations. Then, the Union Minister attended a ceremony to provide foodstuff to the security force members who are making exerted efforts to protect peace and stability of the nation.

The donation was made by family members of the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism. The ceremony was also attended by Commander Maj-Gen Saw Than Hlaing and concerned officials from the Nay Pyi Taw Command. During the ceremony, the Union Minister provided nutritious foodstuff and drinks to the Commander. Then, the Commander presented honorary certificate to the Union Minister and expressed words of gratitude.
