Successful Defense: Air Defense Forces thwart terrorist drone attack

In an attempt to destroy major infrastructure, locations, and governmental departments in Zeyathiri and A Lar townships of Nay Pyi Taw Council Territory, terrorist insurgents released fixed-wing drones near A Lar and Zeyathiri Townships at around 10:30 am on Thursday morning.

However, the air defense forces, responsible for aviation security duties within Nay Pyi Taw Council Territory, detected the fixed-wing drones and shot them down in advance. Two of the fixed-wing drones were destroyed in the air, while 13 others were seized on the ground.

Among them, four drones carrying explosive items were systematically destroyed. Security forces are currently conducting necessary operations to search for the other fixed-wing drones that were shot down. It is reported that there was no damage to residential areas during the incident, and necessary operations are ongoing to respond immediately to emergency situations.
