Coordination meeting: Matters on meeting with outstanding students discussed

The coordination meeting on the meeting with outstanding students and the youth development was held at the assembly hall of the Ministry of Information In Nay Pyi Taw in the afternoon on 3rd April.

The meeting was attended by the Union Ministers U Maung Maung Ohn, Dr. Nyunt Pe, Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw, Dr. Thet Khaing Win, U Min Thein Zan, Dr. Soe Win, Deputy Ministers, permanent secretaries, departmental heads and officials concerned. First, the Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn said that the head of State will meet with the outstanding students from across the country, the meeting is arranged to hold splendidly with the exhibitions, display booths and entertainment programs.

As the raising of youth sector is the important process, the Ministry of Information is steadfastly collaborating and coordinating with the Regions and States Governments in line with the guidance of the Central Committee for Youth Affairs.

The Ministries which are actively cooperating in the youth affairs are wanted to participate in the exhibitions with the sectors suitable and attracted to the youth. The Union Minister Dr. Nyunt Pe said that the exhibition booths will be displayed for the outstanding students to acquire the knowledge.

The Union Minister Dr. Myo Thein Kyaw suggested to consider for the exhibitions from the knowledgeable, technological perspectives etc. Union Minister Dr. Thet Khaing Win discussed the records of young age of the Senior medical officials serving duties at the Ministry of Health who formerly were the outstanding students will be displayed to take as the role models and the display booths will be arranged for acquiring knowledge.

The Union Minister U Min Then Zan advised to include the personnel in the ministries who were the outstanding students in their young age, it’s a purpose to showcase the present government’s treasuring of outstanding students, the outstanding athletes who took the pride of the country should be included to be known by the outstanding students.Union Minister Dr. Soe win discussed to arrange for the exhibition to include the puzzles games programs, knowledge on the environmental conservation and understanding the essence of the peace.

Next, the Deputy Minister discussed and gave necessary suggestions as per the sector.After giving suggestions to hold the meeting with the outstanding students successfully and development of youth affairs, Union Minister U Maung Maung Ohn gave a speech of conclusion.
