






Bago Region Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win attended the closing ceremony of summer basic sports training courses co-organized by the Bago Region Youth Affairs Committee and the Region Sports and Physical Education Department held at region hall for sports in the morning on 1st April.
First of all, Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win said that as the youth who will shoulder all the sectors of the country, they should be nurtured to be physically and mentally fit and to become people with good morals and intelligence. The successful opening of summer basic sports courses will bring the benefits to the state and the world of Myanmar sports. And he encouraged them to attend all year-round sports trainings and become the athletes represented the region and the country.
Next, the Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win provided cash of honor and football for the instructors and the certificate of completing training to the trainees of Fitness Dance, Karate-do, table tennis, the region ministers also presented the certificate of completing training to the trainees of basketball, Myanmar Martial Art (Thaing), Tennis, badminton, volleyball and gymnastic.
Then, the trainees of Myanmar Martial Art (Thaing), football, Karate-do, basketball, Fitness Dance demonstrated relevant sports and the Chief Minister provided cash of honor to them.
The Bago Region Youth Affairs Committee and the Region Sports and Physical Education Department jointly opened (10) summer basic sports training courses. The sport training courses were attended by 657 trainees from the 1st to 31st of March, it’s reported.
