Seizure of restricted chemical: 36.82 tonnes of Ammonium Nitrate seized in Moe Hnyin

The 36.82 tonnes of restricted chemical (AMMONIUM NITRATE) were seized in Mohnyin Township of Kachin State, according to the Myanmar Police Force.

Acting on a tip-off, a combined team comprising members of Police Force intercepted and searched 3 motorcycles and 3 YANG FOND 6-wheelers vehicles driven along the forest route leading to Nant Yin Village and arrested 9 suspects including Win Zaw, Htet Wei Moe, Zaw Lin Tun, Nyi Lin Aung, Wei Yan Myint, Nyein Chan, Nan Aung, Thant Zin Oo and Thaung Han Nyein together with 36.82 tonnes of restricted chemical (AMMONIUM NITRATE). They are being investigated to reveal the chain of criminal offenders, it’s reported.
