77th Anniversary of DPRPW: SAC Chairman graced the celebration

The Chairman of State Administration Council Commander In Chief of Defense Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing graced and delivered honorable remark at the 77th Anniversary of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare under the Office of Commander In Chief (Army) held at No (2) Tatmadaw TV Broadcasting Unit in TaungNyo Town of Ottarathiri Township, Nay Pyi Taw Council Area in the afternoon on 1st April, 2024.

First, the SAC Chairman Commander In Chief of Defense Services and members were warmly welcome by the Director of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare Maj-Gen Zaw Min Tun and members, Myawady TV crew members and officials. At the start of the celebration for the 77th Anniversary of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare, SAC Chairman Commander In Chief of Defense Services opened the anniversary and installing of Tayza Journal and Moe Thauk Pan Journal into Amuze Webtoon Application by using Digital technology and viewed the Video Clip on installing into Amuze Webtoon Application.

Next, the Myawady TV staff members performed with the song of “AunglanHlwint Chi KaKaPyi” and Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare Anniversary Documentary Video was screened. Then, the SAC Chairman delivered a honorable remark that the public relations and psychological warfare unit initiated together with Myanma Tatmadaw has been 77 years today. The performances of all members of the unit by serving any duty assigned by the State and Tatmadaw with exerted efforts along its long history are appreciated and honoured.

The members of unit appear to be serving the duties  with their talents and studied skills such as literature, music, performing arts and media skills for the educational improvement of Tatmadawmen and families, internal unity and motivation of the fighting spirit of the Tatmadawmen in the front line.

Next, the SAC Chairman Commander In Chief of Defense Services awarded the prizes to those who are from the military schools under the directorate of public relations and psychological warfare and won the prizes at the national level competitions and the award winners accepted the prizes.

Then, the Director of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare respectfully presented the gift marked the anniversary to the SAC Chairman Commander In Chief of Defense Services. Consequently, the SAC Chairman provided cash of honor in commemoration of 77th Anniversary of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare and the Director of DPRPW accepted.

After that, the SAC Chairman Commander In Chief of Defense Services enjoyed the presentation of performances and honored the performers by giving flower baskets. After the celebration, the SAC Chairman Commander In Chief of Defense Services and members signed in the signing booth marked the 77th Anniversary of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare, looked round the displayed booths and gave necessary instructions.

At the departure of the SAC Chairman after signing on the guest book of No (2) Tatmadaw TV Broadcasting Unit, Myawady TV staffs and officials concerned under the office of the Directorate of Public Relations and Psychological Warfare gave waving hands.
