Receiving Special Envoy: SAC Chairman received Special Envoy for Asian Affairs

The Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing received H.E. Mr. Deng Xijun, Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China at the parlor of the State Administration Council Chairman’s Office, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on 1st April.

Along with the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister, Council Joint-Secretary Lt-Gen Ye Win Oo, Union minister for Foreign Affairs U Than Swe, Chairman of National Solidarity and Peacemaking Negotiation Committee Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung and officials, together with the Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, officials concerned from Chinese Embassy in Myanmar attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the statuses of peacemaking negotiations with EAOs by the State as well as providing assistances and involving in the peacemaking processes by the People’s Republic of China, bilateral cooperation for prevention and control of narcotic drugs, eradication of online gambling and online scams, matters on border trades between the two countries and the changing of political situations in Myanmar were cordially discussed.

After the meeting, the Chairman of State Administration Council Prime Minister and the Special Envoy for Asian Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China posed for the documentary group photo together with those who were in present.
