Agricultural Development: Summer crop plantations in Nay Pyi Taw inspected

Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Bo Bo Kyaw visited Thapyaykone Village-tract in Pobbathiri Township on 28th March.
During the visit, the Deputy Minister met with the farmers who engaged in summer paddy cultivation, and urged all to strive for boosting per acre yields. He also inspected the irrigation works and summer sesame plantations.
The Deputy Minister later oversaw the summer crop plantations in Nyaungpingyisu Village as well as Zabuthiri and Deckhinathiri Townships. During the inspection, the Deputy Minister instructed the for effective utilization of irrigated water.
