Relief Items: Assistanceprovided to displaced persons in Mandalay

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win attended a ceremony to provide relief items to the displaced persons, held at Bahtoo Stadium in Mandalay on Thursday.
The ministry provided over 56 million kyats for rice and 16 types of relief items worth over 18 million kyats. Moreover, over 3.7 million kyats assistance were provided to the pregnant mothers, children under 5 years,persons with disabilities and senior citizens of aged 70 and above.
