Sports Training: Summer Program commences with Opening Ceremony

The Kachin State Government organized the Summer Sports Training Courses for 2024, kicking off with a vibrant opening ceremony at the State Football Ground in Myitkyina on Saturday. Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan emphasized the importance of nurturing outstanding youths capable of bringing prestige to the state through sports excellence.

During the ceremony, sports uniforms and equipment were distributed to participants. Over 1,500 trainees are attending the summer sports training courses, which encompass 18 different sports including football, volleyball, Judo, Karate, boxing, traditional boxing, and Sepak Takraw. The training course is scheduled to last for over a month, providing ample opportunities for skill development and sportsmanship.
