





The military columns that will take part in the 79th Anniversary Armed Forces Day Parade on 27th March participated in the full-dressed rehearsal at the Nay Pyi Taw parade ground on Friday morning.
During the military parade rehearsal, Anawrahta, Kyansittha, Bayintnaung, Aung Zeya, HsinPhyuShin, Bandhula and Aung San Columns marched from the Thit Tat ground to the Parade Ground with the accompaniment of the military band, singing and marching in unison.
Vice-Chairman of the State Administration Council Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice-Senior General Soe Win oversaw the rehearsal of the military columns, together with Union Minister for Defence Admiral Tin Aung San, Chief of General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General MaungMaung Aye, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Vice Admiral Zwe Win Myint, Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, senior military officers from the Commander-in-Chief office, Chairman of the Armed Forces Day Organizing Management Committee Commander of Nay Pyi Taw Command Maj-Gen Saw Than Hlaing.
During the inspection, the Vice-Senior General fulfilled the requirements. The Armed Forces Day Parade will comprise with officers and other ranks from the Tatmadaw (Army, Navy and Air) and the Myanmar Police Force, female service personnel and female members of Special Task Forces, as well as the aircraft and helicopters from the Tatmadaw (Air).
