Development Works: New road and recreation place in Taunggyi

A new upgraded concrete road constructed from Naung Inn traffic light to Ethnic Affairs and Vocational Training Center in Aye Thar Yar Township in Southern Shan State.

The opening ceremony of new road was held on Friday in commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of Armed Forces Day. After the reports upon upgrading of Naung Inn road by the Director of Shan State Development Committee, Shan State Chief Minister U Aung Aung and concerned officials opened the new concrete road by cutting ceremonial ribbon.

Then, the Chief Minister presented honorary cash to bugle team and inspected the new concrete road. Likewise, new Taunggyi View Point Park was opened for public recreation. The Chief Minster and party formally opened the new facility by cutting ceremonial ribbon and sprinkled with scented water to signboard.

The Chief Minister later presented certificates of honour to those who participated in construction and landscaping processes of new park. Then, the Chief Minister and officials enjoyed the performances of dance troupes in front of Taunggyi View Point Park, and presented cash rewards to the performing troupes.

The newly opened Taunggyi View Point Park is a recreation place with pleasant natural landscapes. No entry fee will be collected, and people can also enjoy the beautiful cloud sea during winter.
