





Under the supervision of Kachin State Government, health care services were provided to the retired civil servants at the 500-bed People’s hospital in Myitkyina Township on Thursday morning.
For the convenience of the retired civil servants, the Kachin State Government conducted the activity, right after withdrawing their pensions. Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and wife together with the state ministers and their wives and departmental officials overviewed the health care service activites as well as administering Pfizer Comirnaty vaccines to senior citizens, aged 60-year and above.
They also inspected the pension disbursement process at Myanma Economic Bank (Myitkyina). Likewise, the Chief Minister and party oversaw the provision of nutritious foodstuff to the retired civil servants and selling of meat, fish, rice and oil at reasonable prices for the convenience of the retired civil servants.
There are over 19,000 retired civil servants in Kachin State and health care services will be provided in accordance with their pension withdrawal period as per townships. Currently, health care services are being provided to the 6,300 retired civil servants in Myitkyina Township.
