Golden Jubilee Mon State Day: SAC Sec. and members attended the celebration

The Secretary of the State Administration Council Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dwe attended the celebration of 2024 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Mon State Day and the ceremony of presenting State honorary awards held in Mawlamyine Township in the morning on 19th March.

First, the celebration of 2024 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Mon State Day was held at the Tha-Mein-Ba-Ram multipurpose ground in Mawlamyine Township and attended by the Secretary of the State Administration Council, SAC members, Union Ministers, Commander of South-East Command, Deputy Ministers, state ministers, departmental officials and invited guests. At the celebration, the attendees gave a slute to the State flag and the fallen martyr leaders and military men.

Next, the Secretary of the State Administration Council Lt-Gen Aung Lin Dwe read the message on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee of Mon State Day sent by the Chairman of the State Administration Council, Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thayay Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing.

After extending words of greeting marked the 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee of Mon State Day, the ceremony was concluded. Next, the SAC secretary together with the SAC members, Union ministers, State Chief Minister and Deputy Ministers attended the ceremony of presenting State honorary awards marked the 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee of Mon State Day held at the State Hall in Mawlamyine Township.

At the ceremony, the Chief minister U Aung Kyi Thein extended words of honor. Then, a Video Clip featured honoring the traditions and customs of Mon State, traditional handicrafts, famous tourist destinations. Next, the SAC secretary presented State honorary awards to the awardees and posed for the documentary photo together with them.

The SAC members Porel Aung Thein, Mann Nyein maung, Dr. Hmu Htan and Khun San Lwin presented State honorary awards to the awardees. Then, the Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Tun Tun Naung handed 150 sets of Solar lamps to use at the Village electrification efforts in the State.

In the afternoon, the SAC secretary and party visited Fuxing Brother Rubber Industrial Co.,Ltd in Mudon Township, heard the clarification of the factory responsible person and viewed round the process from the Stage of rubber raw material to the finished goods.

Next, the SAC secretary and party visited 230 Megawatt Natural Gas and Waste to Energy Plant of Myanmar Lighting (IPP) Co.,Ltd in Mawlamyine, heard the clarification of the responsible person of the plant and viewed round the operation of the plant.

At the nightfall, the SAC secretary and party attended the dinner of honor marked the 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Mon State Day held at the Thameinbaram multipurpose ground and ceremony of prize awarding to the winners in the Mon traditional performing arts competition.

First, the Mon traditional cultural troupe presented sone of honoring 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Mon State Day. Next, the SAC secretary and members awarded the prizes to the winners. Then, the SAC secretary and party enjoyed the dinner of honor marked the 50th Anniversary Golden Jubilee Mon State Day and the entertainment with the traditional songs and dances.
