Factory Visit: Farm Machinery Factory in Kyaukse

Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than, accompanied by Mandalay Region Chief Minister U Myo Aung and officials, arrived at Farm Machinery Factory in Kyaukse of Mandalay Region on 17th March.
At the meeting hall of the factory, official reported on the brief history of factory and the innovation of transplanters in which the Union Minister said as Myanmar is an agro-based country, the factory has to produce the agricultural machines and equipment that is necessary for farmers as well as equipment and spare parts for MSMEs industry. He added that it is necessary to inform the private entrepreneurs about the spare parts that can be produced by the factory.
The Union Minister urged to produce the required parts for the machine as arrangements are being made to produce Double Roller Gin from Mandalay Industrial Zone. He also encouraged to conduct research works for producing Oil and cotton seed purifying machines.
The Mandalay Region Chief Minister added research works should be carried out step by step to improve the quality of domestically produced equipment. After the meeting, the Union Minister, Chief Minister and officials observed the production processes of transplanters, seeders, and spare parts of machines.
