Weather Advisory: Forecast and precautions for upcoming rainfall

According to observations by the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology at 1:30 PM Myanmar Standard Time on Sunday, it is anticipated that due to clouds moving from the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal, Easterly Wave, development of convective clouds, and western disturbances, rainfall or thundershowers are likely to be fairly widespread in the Taninthayi Region and Kachin and Shan States, and isolated to scattered in the remaining Regions and States from 20th to 24th of March.
People are advised to aware of untimely rainfall accompanied by thunder, lightning, hail, and strong winds in areas with the development of convective clouds.
