Matriculation examination: 128801 students sat for first day paper of examination

The 2023-2024 academic year matriculation examination was kicked off on 11th March and the students sat for the exam at the basic education high school in the regions and states. Before sitting for the examination, the teachers inspected the examination entrance cards and necessary inspections systematically in line with the examination rules.

The matriculation examination was taken by 8428 students in 47 exam centers in 8 Townships of Nay Pyi Taw Council Area. A total of 128801 students sat for Myanmar Language paper as the first day of examination at 794 examination centers in 285 townships of 114 districts in the regions and states including Nay Pyi Taw Council Area and the foreign examination centers.

The students taken 2023-2024 academic year matriculation examination were overseen and given words of encouragement by the union minister for education, chief ministers of the regions and states and the officials.
