Inspection Tour: SAC member inspects agriculture works in Ayeyawady Region

Member of the State Administration Council MahnNyeinMaung, accompanied by Ayeyawady Region Chief Minister U Tin Maung Win and officials, visited Mayae Ohnpinsu Village in Mawlamyinekyun Township of Labutta Districton Sunday to observe Sunn Hemp plantation.

They also inspected broadcasting of a mixtur of chemical and natural fertilizer at the 100 acres pilot mechani zedfarm, and provided fertilizer to the farmers. The SAC member and party laterwent to SipwaChaung Village and observed the harvesting of summer plantation.

In meeting with farmers, the SAC member ureged all to makesystematic cultivation for achieving target yields, and boosting agriculturalproduces. They then oversaw the harvesting of summber paddy plantation whichyields 242 baskets per acre. The SAC member and party also inspecated cultivation of sunflower in Wae Daunt Village in Mawlamyinekyun Township and Kala Village in Wakema Township.

The SAC member also met with local villagers, andurged all to make cooperative efforts for achieving targeted yields. On arrival at Madawt Pin Village in Myaung Mya Township, the SAC member and partyinspected the broadcasting of fertilizer, irrigation with solar power water pumping system, and preparation for EM Bokashi fertilizer.

The SAC member andChief Minister instructed for balanced usage of natural and chemical fertilizerand systematic utilizing of agricultural water. Afterwards, the SAC member and party joined the 2nd day even of 62nd anniversary Peasants’ Day in WahduVillage of Kangyidaunt Village.

They encouraged the participants to maked etailed discussions for achieving fruitful outcomes for development of agriculture and livestock breeding sectors. They also oversaw the thriving plantations in Kwinyar East Village and Mayanchaung Village in PatheinTownship, and urged for extended cultivation for boosting production.
