Tourism in Bagan: Ancient monuments attracts crowd of pilgrims

A large number of pilgrims from all over Myanmar flocked to the pagodas, cetis, stupas and religious edifices of Bagan Archeological zone, located in Nyaung-U Township, Mandalay Region. Also, hotels, motels and guest houses in Nyaung-U and Bagan MyoThit are full with guests from various regions and states.

Bagan Archeological zone is acknowledged for more than 3,700 magnificent pagodas, cetis and awe-inspiring religious monuments such as Shwezigon, LawkaNandar, Shwegugyi, AloTawPyae, Ananda and ShweSanDaw pagodas and also ThatbinnyuTemple.
