Fake news disseminating: Illegal subversive media outlets spread fake news

Illegal subversive media outlets are creating and disseminating fake news on social media to mislead the public.

The fake news stated that 7 civilians were killed due to heavy weapons and drop bomb attacks by Tatmadaw security forces, on a vehicle convoy transporting displaced civilians from armed conflicts at Hsiseng Township, Shan State (South) on Tuesday morning.

Regarding the news, there was no heavy weapon launch or drone attacks by the security forces on this date, according to the responsible local residents.The KNDF, PNLA, PDF terrorist insurgents are intentionally committing destructive activities and launching attack on the Tatmadaw security forces conducting security operations in aforesaid area. And, they are also spreading fake news through malicious media outlets to cover up their terror acts and discredit the security forces.
