Development Works: Park and road extension & summer paddy plantations

The Engineering Department (Road and Bridge) under the Yangon City Development Committee is implementing the extension of Bayintnaung Park in Hlaingthaya (East) Township. On Wednesday, Chief Minister of Yangon Region U Soe Thein inspected the work progress at the project site, situated at the corner of Yangon-Pathein and Yangon-Nyaungdon Roads.

The project includes construction of pedestrian lanes in the park, briefing hall, landscaping works, 300 stalls with 10 square feet, 4 acres wide festive ground, bleachers, water fountain, playground, exercise ground, dumping ground and car parking.

Afterwards, The Chief Minister and party inspected the extension of Yangon-Pathein No.5 Road. The facility is being upgraded from 6-lane facility to 8 lane one with better drainage system. Then, the Chief Minister and party inspected summer paddy plantations in Ingalone Village of Kunchankone Township.
