Snow blankets cities in Turkiye’s east

Heavy snowfall blanketed parts of Turkiye and shut down roads in rural areas across several cities in the eastern part of the country. Turkish State Meteorological Service has issued yellow and orange alerts. Villages in many cities in the eastern region are covered with snow. Snow fighting teams worked to keep the village roads open.
