






Organized by the Department of Rural Development (Dekkinathiri Township) Nay Pyi Taw, the opening ceremony of ShwePyi Village manufacturing road was held on Friday morning as a gesture of commemorating the 77th Anniversary Union Day.
During the ceremony, Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo and Deputy Minister U Myint Soe opened the road by cutting the ceremonial ribbons and made a tour along the road. Speaking on the occasion, the Union Minister stressed to use the road effectively and called for the unity of the local residents for the development of the individual household, townships and region.
Then, the Union Minister attended the opening ceremony of 1 mile and 1 furlong long concrete road in Tatkone Township. After formal opening of the ceremony, they made inspection the new facility, which connects the Uttarathiri Township road and SharTaw village.
Then, the Union Minister met with the local residents and stressed the effective and systematic utilization of the road in conducting regional development activities for the long-term durability. Then, the Union Minister inspected the irrigation facilities in SharTaw Village and met with the officials and local residents. There, the Union Minister provided necessary instruction on effective utilization of the agricultural water.
Later, the Union Minister attended a ceremony to provide paddy seeds and agricultural inputs in GwayPin Model Village. During the ceremony, Sanpya GwayPin Agriculture and General Economic Cooperative Association provided paddy seeds and agricultural inputs including Pearl Fertilizer and Compound Fertilizer worth 28.8 million kyats to the farmers for the summer paddy cultivation.
