Academic Tour: Visit to Yangon University and basic Education schools

Union Minister for Education Dr. Nyunt Pe accompanied by Directors-General and officials visited the Yangon University on Thursday afternoon and made inspection. During the inspection, the Union Minister oversaw the equipment being used at Innovative Biophysics Lab, Molecular Lab and Fish Nutrition Laboratory at the Center for Research and Innovation and coordinated requirements.

Then, the Union Minister and party visited the Practising High School (TTC) on Pyay Road and provided necessary instructions on cleaning and beautifying of the school buildings. Next, the Union Minister visited No.2 Basic Education High School (Kamayut) and No.2 Basic Education High School (Bahan) and fulfilled the requirements in teaching/learning processes and administrative matters.

Earlier in the day, the Union Minister attended the opening ceremony of new school building at the Basic Education High School in Nat Kyi Chaung Village, Paung Township of Mon State. He formally opened the new school building by cutting the ceremonial ribbon and viewed round the new facility.
