Work coordination meeting: Mon State Chief Minister addressed the meeting

To be able to successfully hold 77th Union Day which will fall on 12th February 2024, a work coordination meeting was held at Mon State Government Office on 31st of January.

Initially, Chairman of Leading Committee for the celebration, Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein said that working committees have been formed in order to hold 77th Union Day celebration resoundingly with full of essence in line with five national objectives and relevant committees and sub committees are needed to coordinate and cooperate one another not to occur weaknesses and difficulties taking lessons from the experiences of past years while it is being held annually.

Next, the implementation measures of each committee of the organizing committees clarified and State Chief Minister supplemented the needs and gave a closing speech.

In the afternoon, a meeting (1/2024) of Mon State Investment Committee was held at State Government Office where Chairman of Mon State Investment Committee, Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein stressed that there are total 56 Myanmar Citizens’ Investments in Mon State with the investment amount of over 934.758 billion kyats and 37 Foreign Investments with 5.136 billion US dollars investment amount creating job opportunities for 4487 persons.

He also called to make all around discussion for increasing more job opportunities and development of economy in the region. Then, State Directorate of Investment and Company Administration, State Head officer U Tin Htun Aung explained about the matters of approval submission in line with rules and regulations regarding investment businesses in the State.

Later, Chief Minister coordinates the needs upon the report of the approval request for two wheels and three wheels motor cycles production of Min Oo Motor Myanmar Co., Ltd. with full of Myanmar Citizen Investment and the report of approval request to extend the construction period for M Rubber Co., Ltd.’s production and distribution improving the purity of natural rubber with full of Myanmar Citizen Investment respectively.
