New Health Facility: 7-storey annex opened at Yangon General Hospital

Hailing the 77th anniversary Union Day, 7-storey annex building was opened at Yangon General Hospital on Sunday, with the presence of Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
Established in 1873 as 483-bed facility, Yangon General Hospital has been upgraded in successive eras, and it reached 2,000-bed facility in 2016. The new facility comprising X-ray unit, laboratory, medical wards will provide better health care services, with international standard.
