Preparation for Election: Demonstration of MEVM in Mandalay Region

Chairman of the Union Election Commission U Thein Soe oversaw the demonstration process of Myanmar Electronic Voting Machine at No.1 Basic Education High School in Aung Myay Thazan Township of Mandalay Region on Wednesday.

The UEC Chairmqan cordially greeted the departmental personnel, members of political parties and voters, and gave instructions to the departmental personnel to use the voting machine practically as they will be assigned at the polling stations.

In the evening, the UEC Chairman met with electoral officers from Mandalay Region, District and Township, and discussed matters on encoding process of population lists who are aged 18 and above to the Central Voters List Management System.
