Work coordination meeting: MoH UM gave the necessary instruction at the meeting

A work coordination meeting on financial expenditure of the Ministry of Health was held on Monday where the Union Minister for Health Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win, Deputy Minister Professor Dr. Aye Tun, Director General from Chief Minister office, Directors General and Deputy Directors General from the Departments of Public Health and Medical Services, Heads of Nay Pyi Taw/Region/State Public Health and Medical Services Departments and officials concerned were in attendance.
At the meeting, the Union Minister gave the opening speech saying that it is needed to complete the tasks on time reviewing strengths and weaknesses encountered during trips to regions and states, to supervise the measures on the Ministry’s policies and objectives, to conduct maintenance works that are necessary to meet the standard structures for operation theaters, maternal ward and lab rooms in People’s Hospitals during the remaining two months of 2023-24 FY, to boost cleaning works inside and outside of the Peoples’ Hospitals, to monitor the purchase and use of pharmacies and medical equipment, to make the ground inspections in order to get on-site real situations and he called to put collaborative efforts to be able to give better medical services.
Next, Directors General from Public Health and Medical Services Departments reported on purchase and use of pharmacies and equipment and the Union Minister, Deputy Minister and Directors General supplemented the needs upon the reports of Heads of Medical Services Departments from regions and states.
