Smooth Transportation :Kayin State Gov’t commissions new road into service

In commemoration of the 76th Independence Day which falls on the 4th of January 2024, Kayin State Government commissioned the KawtPaLan-KawtRayKhar  Road into service.

Chief Minister U Saw Myint Oo attended this road opening ceremony and stressed that the public can reach the border town of Myawaddy in a short time, and the flow of goods will be fast along with employment opportunities creation and quick access to education, health and economic issues.

The Chief Minister also urged locals to cooperate on maintenance of the road. And, the Chief Minister and concerned officials ceremonially opened the road. It’s learnt that this KawtPaLan-KawtRayKhar Road has been constructed with the Kayin State Government Budget of 555.854 million Kyats in the fiscal year of 2023-2024.
