e-ID Implementation :MoIP Union Minister makes inspection at MCDC

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing on Tuesday visited the Mandalay City Development Committee (MCDC) office in Chanayethazan Township to inspect the NRC issuance and the Biographic/Biometric collection with the e-ID system for locals from 7 townships.

The Union Minister also heard reports and called for plans to ensure the process is systematic and data collection is correct. Also, he held talks with the locals on the process and explained conditions that people who have received a Unique ID number can connect to other services. There, Unique ID numbers were issued to 314 locals, it’s reported.
