Mexican President inaugurates train as alternative to Panama Canal

Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador inaugurated the Interoceanic Railway as an alternative to the Panama Canal, just a week after unveiling the Mayan tourist train. The first part of the project connects the ports of Salina Cruz with Coatzacoalcos, along a stretch of 303 kilometers.
