Rakhine State Day Commemoration: Research paper reading session at Shwedagon Pagoda

The Rakhine Literature and Culture Association (Yangon) held a research paper reading session in commemoration of the 49th Rakhine State Day.

Deputy Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture Daw Nu MraZan and Deputy Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Zaw Aye Maung attended this event at the Rakhine State Community Hall of the Shwedagon Pagoda and delivered remarks. 

And, research papers titled ‘Study of the origin of the name Rakhine’, ‘Finding and Presentation on Numbers in Rakhine Waithali Period’ and ‘Rakhine Waithali: Beginning of Speech’. And, Deputy Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Zaw Aye Maung presented certificates of honour and provided cash assistance to participants and researchers.
