Sports Sector: Welcome ceremony & auto sprinkler system opening

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan on Saturday welcomed the students who won 3 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals at the sports festival for basic education students held in Nay Pyi Taw for the state.

This welcome ceremony for the Kachin State Team which ranked fourth in the sports festival took place in front of the No. 9 Basic Education High School in Myitkyina. On Friday, the Chief Minister attended the Opening ceremony of the football pitch auto sprinkler system and a friendly football match at the state sports ground in commemoration of the 76th Independence Day.

There, in his speech, the Chief Minister said that to improve sports level of the state, construction of sports ground and stadium and renovation are approved as a priority work. And, the Chief Minister and officials ceremonially opened the football pitch auto sprinkler system. The Chief Minister also enjoyed the friendly match.
