Coordination Meeting: Preparations for 41st graduation ceremony in Mawlamyaing

The work coordination meeting to successfully organize the 41st graduation ceremony for members of the Sangha and nuns who passed the Dhammacariya and Pathamapyan examinations was conducted at the Mon State Government office on Tuesday afternoon, in the presence of Chief Minister U Aung Kyi Thein, State Government Ministers, work committee members and departmental personnel.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister said that the 41st graduation ceremony is set to be held in grandeur in December 2023 with the guidance of Mon State Government. A total of 53 Dhammacariya and 882 Pathamapyan exams passers have turned out from the Mawlamyaing exam center in 2023.

He stressed the need to plan in advance to successfully organize the graduation ceremony at the Pariyatti Dhamma Beikman in Mawlamyaing Township. Then, Mon State religious officer gave a briefing on work undertaking and the State Ministers suggested the needs upon the reports by the attendees from respective working committees. And, the Union Minister fulfilled the needs and gave a closing remark.
