Edinburgh zoo pandas returning to China

Two endangered giant pandas returned to China after 12 years in the United Kingdom at Edinburgh zoo on Monday.

It had been hoped female panda Tian Tian and male Yang Guang would breed while at the zoo, but they did not produce a cub.

The pair pandas arrived in Chengdu on Tuesday and will live at a sanctuary in Chengdu in southwest China's Sichuan Province.
