Myanmar Situation Update: SAC Information Team makes clarifications

Leader of the Information Team of the State Administration Council Major General Zaw Min Tun on Monday provided update on the situation in Myanmar.

The Major General highlighted the 10th memorial service, praying and saluting to the falling heros, the request of war veterans, the military service personnel who took retire from the duty under the health circumstances, those who absent from the duty without intention and were desertion to resume the military duty, The descriptions by the Country Reports on Terrorism 2022 of US Department of State Website describing 57% of terrorism committed by PDF terrorists in Myanmar and 14% committed by KNLA and KNDF, the transferring Chinese citizens who are illegally residing at border areas of  Myanmar and criticism and attacks from the western countries-supported media to damage bilateral relations while Myanmar and China are cooperating for border region stability, peace, rule of law and security.

He also stressed that the armed engagements taken place at Shan State (North-East), Kayin State, Rakhine State and Mone Township.
