Serbian president addresses supporters at parliamentary election rally

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said at an election campaign rally in Belgrade on Saturday that he is "proud" of defending the "independence" of Serbian policy on the international stage ahead of the early parliamentary election set for Dec. 17.  

He also vows to keep his country "militarily neutral" and to strengthen its armed forces. Aleksandar Vucic who has moved closer to the West while seeking to preserve the friendship with Moscow, has led the country since 2012.
