Seven years after the signing of a peace agreement between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (Farc) guerrillas, former President and Nobel Peace Prize winner Juan Manuel Santos criticized President Gustavo Petro's "total peace" plan that aims to end the still ongoing fighting between the security forces, leftist guerrillas, right-wing paramilitaries and drug gangs. The agreement with the FARC is not implemented, any other attempt at peace is stillborn, Santos said at a ceremony marking the anniversary of the historic deal.
