Annual Celebration: 2023 Taunggyi Tazaunggyi Hot-Air Balloon Festival

2023 Taunggyi Tazaunggyi Hot-Air Balloon Festival is being held from November 21st to 27th.

On the fourth day of the festival on Friday, 10 teams from Taunggyi participated in releasing daytime hot-air balloons, depicting various animal shapes. Being an annual celebration, the festival attracts crowd of visitors from all across the country.

During the festival, a series of events will be included such as Kathina Procession and Non-stale weaving in addition to the releasing of daytime and nighttime hot-air balloons. There will be entertainment programs at night with the performance of local talents.
